No one can really predict the future. The future always holds many secrets, opportunities and mysteries. What we always experience is right here, right now.
As this is being written, the words which comes before it is part of history and the only moment which is in the present is when the drop of ink fall onto the paper and it creates the lines which forms these words.
What come next after these words is unknown and they make up the future which has yet to be told.
By now you would have already realized that the bulk of it is history. This will be read over and over and over again as long as the reader wants to read it and as long as these pages last.
This is similar to anything, any event, any group and ony individual human being on Earth. That’s why pain stakingly historians did their research and record every single findings as part of historical data.
This is also why we have to learn history as without history, we will not know and appreciate the present. Most likely we will make the same mistakes over and over again by not learning from the past.
Its true our history lessons taught in classrooms and textbooks are boring and some thoughts would have concluded that its irrelevant.
Alas, we really got to appreciate this subject’s significant in order to get motivated to know more about it.
Unknowingly, we as humans gain insights of another individual through sharing of each other’s history/past. Things such as which school you came from, what things you have done and like to do (these would only be shared after its being done even though it’s probably a hobby that is on-going) and etc.
By learning the other’s past then and only then you know how to adapt to the person’s character or activities in their lives in future. As they say the past makes a man.
Experiences, events, environment, people and a whole lot of other stuff shaped the person who stands before you.
Thus, to know the person, you need to know his/her past. The present & future is what you will shape together which very soon will be the past.
Ironic isn’t it, how we do what comes naturally. And what comes naturally is to get to know the other person’s past/history.
This is when relations are made, networks are formed and bridges are constructed in the world wide web of people. Who says history is dull (actually I do)
So, you will know a whole lot of important facts by knowing the person’s past. What are we waiting for? Start asking if not you will never know.
